Impatient

I am feeling so anxious lately. I am so busy, so the time should be flying. But the last couple weeks have seemed to drag on, and I am just feeling so anxious to have my baby. It's hard not to think about it all.the.time. I still have a lot I need to do to prepare for his arrival, so it is good that I still have some time. But I just want the time to come! The pregnancy symptoms are strong lately.. Just this afternoon I started crying cuz Kenzie had to go to sleep before his next shifts and I wanted him to stay awake with me. Haha, oh and the other night I had a very vivid dream about multi-flavored pop tarts. What the heck? I am definitely blaming that one on pregnancy. I have had some cramping the last few days, and it is frustrating and scary to not know if you're having cramps, gas pains, or contractions. I can still feel my baby moving around like crazy and the pains aren't terribly consistent, so at this point I'm not freaking out too much. I have an appointment on Thursday so hopefully my doctor can help me know what is happening to me! The good news is that in two days I will officially be in my third trimester. I am really hoping that this last trimester goes by fast. I am so ready to have my body back and mostly just SO ready to hold my baby. Patience is not my best trait!

23!

I have to give a little birthday shout out to my sweet hubby. He is 23 today, and I can't believe this is the same cute 17 year old boy I fell in love with. Where has the time gone? He is even sweet enough to read my blog at work sometimes so here is a little birthday message to my love:

Happy birthday babe! I can't believe how fast time is flying and I guess it's true that time really does fly when you're having fun. I am so proud of you and I love the person you are. I hope you know how much I appreciate how hard you work and all you do for our family. You really are the best, and I hope your birthday has been the best one yet! I love you!

Fall So Far..

I am SO glad fall is finally here. That means winter is coming, and even before baby R, winter is my favorite time of year. I have been LOVING fall already. Of course I haven't been taking nearly enough pictures. But some of the things we have been doing the last few weeks are:

*Labor Day Camp Hopping: Over Labor Day we couldn't decide what to do because we had so many options. Our friends were camping, my dad's family was camping, and Kenz's family was camping. So we decided to go camp hopping! Friday night we pulled our trailer up Spring City canyon with some of the best friends in the world. Me and Kasia made navajo tacos in the trailer while the boys went looking for elk and when they got back we had dinner, and sat up into all hours of the night visiting with friends and eating smores. Saturday morning we pulled over to Fairview Canyon and camped with Kenzie's family and our family friends. There were LOTS of people up there and the food was delicious! Nothing beats camping food. Sunday we came home, cleaned up a little bit, and headed over to Payson canyon to spend the day with my dad and his family. It was so funny because when we got there they were making navajo tacos! Of all the foods, they made the same thing as us. We had another good night with family and headed home Sunday night because Kenz had to work Monday morning :(

*Working on the house and spending time with the boys: I have mentioned it already but I LOVE having my brothers over here. It has been so much fun to have a full house sometimes instead of just us. And I really appreciate the help they are to me.

*School: I have been loving my classes and have been doing so good! It feels so good to be learning and bettering myself.

*Spending time with friends: Over Labor Day, Kasia was SO ready to have her little girl. She couldn't tell if she was close or not, but she was getting miserable. Well Monday night she went into Labor and Tuesday afternoon she had her! Kenzie loved playing with little Kaylix. It is so weird to see Matt and Kasia with a baby, but they are seriously the cutest. It makes me so excited to have ours. I love how in just a year, TONS of our friends have had babies, got married, and grown up. You would think that having babies would slow us all down, but we can already tell it's only going to get more fun from here!

So that is life lately in a nutshell. I will post soon about my big baby belly :)

House Updates

It has been a LONG time coming, and we are still not done, but we have made so much progress on our house lately. The pressure of getting the baby room ready has kicked us into gear and all the sudden we've got the baby room done, the kitchen mostly done, and the bathroom done! I don't have many pictures to show yet, because we aren't completely done with our projects, but here is a little sneak peak of the progress we are making! If you saw my house before, you know how terrible some of the stuff in it was...

Zacky starting the painting in the baby's room. More pics to come once we have the crib and stuff in there :) It is SOOOO cute.

My cute kitchen wall.. Still need to finish decorating...

And my new countertops and cupboards. You can tell there is still work to be done, and I haven't done much decorating in there yet, but the countertops are no longer YELLOW, there isn't carpet in the kitchen, and the walls aren't green. So I am happy :)

I love having a house, and I love working on it. I am SO thankful to Kenz and my sweet brothers for helping me get the house ready for Riken to get here. It will be so nice to get all of this done and be able to relax and enjoy the last couple months of pregnancy.

Beach Night

In the middle of August we got a little addition to our family! My little brother Zack moved in with us for college. He is going to Snow and he is living in our basement. It has been SO nice to have him here. With Ty over in Ephraim and Zack here with us, I am loving all the quality time with my little bros. It will be really nice to have Zack here when the baby comes since Kenz works a lot during the week and I won't have to be home alone with him at nights.

The weekend after Zack moved in we decided to go to the "beach" in Moroni on Sunday night. We just decided last minute to go down there and sit for a while and it was so much fun! The crazy boys ended up jumping in the water, but I was perfectly content watching. I love spur of the moment ideas!
