1 Month

I'm a little slow posting this, but Riken turned one month old a couple weeks ago! I can't believe it. This has been the fastest month of my life and my boy is already growing too fast! Here are a few facts about the little man at one month:

- He weighs 7 lbs 9 oz.

- He is 20.5 inches long.

- He eats 3-4 oz every 3-4 hours.

- He is finally starting to fit into some of his newborn outfits.

- He LOVES being in his swing. We owe Alan and Amber big time for giving it to us.

- He loves music. 

- He loves bath time.

Nursery

I realized that I never posted pictures of Riken's room. We went a little crazy with the baseball theme :) We are going to jinx ourselves and he is going to hate baseball! Anyway, I love how his room turned out. It was a team effort.. everyone in my family either helped with painting, sewing, or buying something for it. I got crafty and made a lot of the decorations. Thank heavens for pinterest right?

Splash!

Riken LOVES the tub now. I think he could sit in there and splash around all day. I have the cutest baby in the world. I am so lucky!

Life Lately

Life has been so good to us lately. I am back to work. Sooner than most would expect, but I am actually happy about it. It is nice to get back into a routine and I feel better when I have to get up and get things done. I miss my boy while I am away from him, but I think it is good for him to be with people besides just me. I hate when babies are so attached to their moms that they won't let anyone else hold them. I am really lucky to have my mom around to watch him. I could not work if I didn't know that he was in such good hands and with someone who loves him. Riken is such an amazing baby. He lets me sleep a lot at nights and even when I'm up with him he is just so sweet. I could not ask for a better baby. People warned me that I might feel sad or depressed after he was born, but I have not felt that way at all. I feel so much better, I am loving work, I have a sweet husband and a great baby. I have never been happier in my life! Here are some pictures of us lately. We are leaving for Brian Head in the morning so watch for a post about that :)

First Bath

This post is out of order, but here are some pictures of my baby's first bath! He hates being naked so when we first put him in there he wants to start freaking out, but as soon as he realizes the water is warm he likes it :) He is so freaking cute. I seriously can't get enough of him.
