Rough Day

So yesterday I woke up

and I was gung ho ready for the day.

When I woke up my eye was bothering me,

but I was so chipper when I woke up I didn't even care!

I was a half hour early to work

and I was seriously feeling on top of the world!

Well it didn't take long for things to go south.

As the morning went on, my eye got much much worse.

It started killing and it was bright red.

It got to the point where I couldn't even keep my eye open.

And the light was my worst enemy.

When I went in the bathroom to look and it

I noticed a grayish white spot on the brown part of my eye.

I also noticed that my pupil was much smaller than the other.

When some of my co-workers came and saw it

they suggested that I go to the eye doctor.

Me and Kenzie never go to the doctor for anything.

We are finally getting our health insurance this month,

but all the paperwork isn't done yet.

So I really didn't want to go drop a bunch of money

on the eye doctor.

But by noon I knew I needed to go.

So I called and told them it was an emergency

and they squeezed me in.

It turns out I have a corneal ulcer on my right eye.

I couldn't get a good picture but below

is exactly what my eye looks like.

I was in major pain all day!

My hubby is in Grantsville working on his grandpa's farm

He was suppose to be home yesterday, but ended up having

to stay up there an extra day.

To top the day off, mother nature's monthly

gift came in to visit me.

We had people coming over to our house for Xyng,

and I was feeling like crap.

I couldn't see, my eye was killing me,

I missed my hubby, I was cramping up, and I was exhausted

from taking a Benadryl that morning

(thinking my eye was just allergies.)

I seriously thought I was going to die.

Our meeting for Xyng went awesome,

and I survived.

I crashed when I finally made it to bed last night.

And I am feeling lots better today.

But man,

I just couldn't believe how such a nice morning

turned into the

worst day ever!

*******

I will stop complaining now, but I just had to

whine a little bit about how awful it was!!!

I am SO ready for the weekend

and some good camping time!

Prom Night

My little Fluffy had his Junior Prom!

Oh man, I have to admit

I was a little sad.

I am not ready for him to grow up

and I am definitely not ready to send him

out on a mission in a year and a half.

Ty is one of my very best friends.

He is so nice to me and I am so glad

to be his sister!

Meat, Whole Wheat, and Boiled Eggs

So, me and some of my friends are starting this recipe

exchange on our blogs.

I gotta tell ya,

this is NOT a good week for food.

Me and Kenzie spent $100 each on this

7 day diet that is suppose to make

you SHED weight.

We are on our 4th day.

Kenzie has lost 7 lbs and I have lost 3.

It has been ROUGH,

but hopefully it will pay off.

***

So as I was blog stalking yesterday,

I found the most amazing recipe ever.

Only problem is, we can't eat it.

But I thought I'd share it,

so at least someone can enjoy the

deliciousness of this until we can have a turn.

Nutter Butter Balls

Cupcake diva Bakerella shares her

recipe for no-cook nuggets of

peanut butter goodness that you'll have as much fun making

as the kids will have eating!

1 package Nutter Butter cookies

1 (8-oz) package cream cheese (softened to room temperature)

Chocolate candy coating (or chocolate chips)

***

Finely crush all but about 5 cookies

(including the cream center)

in a food processor.

Add cream cheese.

Use the back of a large spoon to help combine the two together.

Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a wax paper covered cookie sheet.

Melt candy coating as directed on the package.

Using a spoon, dip balls into candy coating,

tap off extra and slide onto wax paper

covered cookie sheet to dry.

Refrigerate and enjoy!

* You can also make them with oreos and put

sprinkles on them!

An Easy Going Weekend :]

We had such a fun weekend! We didn't really go anywhere or have anything planned,

but it ended up being the best weekend

we've had in a while!!

On Friday night:

*I went and watched the Badgerette Review

with some friends.

*Then we went bowling with our

friends Nolan and Kenzie

*Then went to our house and watched

movies and ate pizza.

*SUPER FUN

On Saturday:

* We woke up and cleaned our house

and vehicles.

* Went to Wal Mart and bought a new movie :]

(Our favorite thing to do)
* I went tanning.

* Joe came over for the rest of the day...

* We went to the AC

and played some basketball.

* The three of us went and ate at Los Amigos.

* We made cookies.

* We went home and watched Faster

(which was awesome)

* We went to the gym and worked out.

* Came home and watched ANOTHER movie lol

On Sunday:

* Mack had to work until 3, so I busted out

my scrapbook stuff and got lots of pages done :]

* Joe came over again and the boys went to

the gym while I made us dinner

(Chicken and rice... YUMMMY)

* We ate dinner and watched ANOTHER new

movie while I scrapbooked and they played with Hemi.

I found Quincy and Hemi like this on Saturday afternoon.

PRECIOUS :]

On Sunday night, I cut my toe.

We didn't have any bandaids,

so Kenz went to Maverick and bought

some to put on my toe.. So cute.

He is the best.

So, the moral of the story is this:

A) It was so nice to spend a weekend at home together, making our own fun.

B) It is so nice living in Ephraim

where there is so much for a

young married couple to do.

C) We have some awesome friends

that make our life so much fun!

Mini Reunion

I got a special treat this weekend!

On Friday night,

I got to see a few of my old

fellow Badgerettes.

We went and watched the Badgerette

Review at Snow.

It was so nice to see some of my

very favorite girls,

catch up,

and be reminded of some of

our funny memories from Snow.

Gosh I miss those days!

Thanks for coming down

Kati Jo, Amanda, Alexa, and Lauren.

Oh, PS... We are pretty sure our team was better than this years!

Haha I can say that cuz I don't know anyone on Badgerettes this year!
