What's UP?!?

WOW!
Worst blogger ever.
I don't even remember the last time I went
a whole month without blogging!

Life has been crazy!
In a good way :]
We are doing so good,
and just loving life.

So for a little update on the Browns:

* Mom got married!!! Obviously this will be a whole other post
with pictures of the big day.
It was beautiful.
She looked gorgeous, and it was just a perfect day.
If you would have told me 2 months ago
that my mom would be getting remarried
and have this happy sparkle in her eyes,
I would NOT have believed it.
But she is absolutely glowing.
It's awesome.

* Ty is going to be playing in the play offs this week for football.
He is playing against Stansbury,
which is where our cousins go to school!
So it will be a really fun game to watch.

* We are getting a chocolate lab.
I have NEVER wanted to be those people with two dogs.
But since I got Hemi I have realized how amazing animals are.
I swear that dog understands me.
If I am having a bad day, she will snuggle me up!
So when we found out that we could have the first pick
of the new puppies that are coming,
we couldn't say no.
Kenzie LOVES labs
and he wants to name this little one Yager.
LOL, I told him everyone would think he was an alcoholic,
but he just loves the name for a dog!
Hemi andYager... has a nice ring to it.
I think I am probably trying to compensate for the lack of babies coming our way.
I am hoping that a new puppy will distract me
a little while longer from the sadness that comes from wanting a baby
and not getting one.
This is probably going to be another post of its own soon as well.

* We have decided that we can get a better house for the
price they are asking for the one we are in now.
We have looked at about every single house
Sanpete County has to offer, and have been considering our options.
We have been working with some guys who build beautiful houses
and that is what we have decided to do.
I REALLY wish we could have decided this a month or two ago.
Because now it is too late in the year to start,
and we really don't want to be in the middle of building our house
when the snow hits.
Plus we will have Mackenzie's truck paid off in the next couple months :]
So we are going to wait until spring to build.
We will stay here for now,
and as soon as the snow is gone we will finally build our dream home.

* We purchased 6 acres of land up Hideaway Valley!
It is absolutely beautiful and I cannot WAIT to spend weekends up there.
We are going to go up this weekend and level out some of the land
to make some prime camping spots :]
There is an awesome tree up there that Kenz wants to make into
a huge treehouse for the future children... Cutest thing ever right??
We are mostly just happy that we are making smart decisions
and investing in things that will pay off!

* Tonight is the Zumba halloween party.
What the heck are adults suppose to dress up as and not feel totally stupid? Lol
So me and Ashley got this bright idea that we would
bust out our old cheer uniforms and be cheerleaders.
Let me just tell ya...
those skirts are a lot shorter than I remembered!
Lol I might have to sport some leggings underneath.

Well, I guess that's about all we got going on.
I am going to really try to be a more dedicated blogger this month.
Lot's going on!

Life Lately.

Hmmm.....
What have we been up to lately???

Aside from work... Pretty much nothing.
My poor husband has been working his life away!
It has been rough.
We had to miss our friends trip
to Park City this weekend cuz he had work.
I'm a girl who likes my quality husband and wife time.
So him never being home is starting to take it's toll.
I miss him : [

We got a new nephew!!
Stevie had her baby last week,
and we are hoping to get up there this week to see him.
He is so freakin precious.

Me, Amy, and Ashley had a yard sale on Saturday.
Altogether we made $750.00!
That will be nice to have this weekend....

Which brings me to my next subject.
MESQUITE!
Every year,
the girls go to Mesquite for a weekend in October.
I have been waiting for EVER to be 21
so I could go with.
The time has finally come!
Three days from now I will soaking up the Nevada sun....
And hopefully winning some MONEY!
This vacation couldn't have come at a better time.
I just wish my hubby was going with.

My little Mimi is back in heat.
She is in "humping mode."
Haha, it is the funniest thing.
We really need to get her fixed soon.

My mom's wedding is 2 and a half weeks away!
I can't believe it.
I am super excited :]
They are the cutest thing ever.

I got my hair did last week.
I went lighter on top and super dark underneath.
I like it....
Kenz wants me to stay blonde through the winter this year.
We will see ;)

I wish it would get colder outside!!!!!
I am ready for fall / winter.
Big time.

Well,
That's pretty much what's been going on.
Life is good.
Busy, but good.

Slacker

Yep, I will admit it.
I have been a slacker lately!
I broke my camera, so I never have
anything to post on my blog!
I am getting a new camera ASAP,
but until then,
my phone pictures will have to do!

Last weekend,
we went and stayed with the cutest
nieces in the world!
They are awesome.
This picture is terrible,
but we had a bbq at Stevie's and this
is a picture of the girl roasting
"smashmallows."
Haha, I just love them.

I am CRAVING winter.
I have always been a summer person.
But this year, I have hated the heat,
and I just want it to be snowy
and to cuddle up by the fire with hot chocolate
and warm blankets.
And plus I just want it to be Christmas.

I have snake intuition.
Seriously, I can sense when one is around!
Haha, I can't believe how deathly afraid of them I am.
But they are EVERYWHERE in this blasted county!
I seen this bad boy on the road by my work the other day
Of course I wouldn't get out to take a picture
so I just leaned out of my car with my phone...
I probably looked like a weirdo,
But SERIOUSLY,
why do I always have to see snakes???

Now that softball is over,
I have returned to Zumba.
I am VERY happy to be back!

The other day,
I was searching pinterest for football cakes
for Mackenzie's birthday
and this is what I got!
Freakin cutest picture ever!
I rrreeeeaaaalllllyyyyyyy want one......

Kenzie's birthday was Saturday...
We had a little barbecue and it
was lots of fun!
It was nice to have people over to our house,
and I know Kenz had a good time.
Happy 22nd birthday Kenzer!

Well, I think that's all I got for now.
I wish the weekends were longer and the
work weeks were shorter.
But it's already Monday and time to get back into our routine.
Have a good week everybody!

I'm Back!!

So last week I had NO motivation for ANYTHING!
And now this week I am like
GUNG HO!
I have got more done in the last two days
than I did in the last two weeks!

My office is immaculate!
( And smells like coconut! )

I finally changed my umbrella wreath....

And I made a mail box!
I feel like people at work are always handing me
mail in the hallway and asking me to send it out.
But then I get into my office and find a pile
of things I am in the middle of
and it gets put on the back burner.
And it ends up being a day or two before
I actually put a stamp on it and take it to the post office.
So hopefully now I can just grab the mail
out of my cute little mailbox and the end of the day
and stop at the post office on the way home.

Fun right?
It started out as a box of folders....
Amazing what a little mod podge will do :]

I have also done a few crafts for my house...
But I forgot to take pics
so I will do that tonight!
Yay for me getting my motivation back!!!

My Little Senior

Can you believe my little Ty is a senior!
Tonight is his first home game,
and all our family is coming down to watch him
then sleeping over at our new house.
I am so excited!!

Tyler is such a special kid.
I love how respectful he is to me
and how he make me feel awesome
by laughing at all my jokes
when most of them are dumb!

I took some pictures of Ty last weekend...
I wanted to takes some before his jersey gets all yucky
from playing in games!

Good luck tonight Ty!
I love you and am
very proud of you!

Change

I read a quote on Miss Teisha's blog
today that really made me think!

"All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy;
for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves;
we must die to one life
before we can enter another."
- Anatole Frances

I am thinking back to when me and Kenz were first married.
We lived in the crappiest apartment Nephi had to offer!
Haha, it was tiny and ugly!
I hated it so much and I couldn't even
wait to move to a better place.

We have come so far since that day.
But looking back,
I remember all these fun memories
of being a brand new newlywed there.
Opening all our wedding presents,
making Kenzie lunches for work,
playing in the yard,
walking to 7-11 to get a drink.......

We had such good times and I didn't even realize it!
Sometimes you want something so much
that it's pretty much all you think about.
But then you get it.
And like the quote said,
it is a little melancholy.
Because whether the change is good or bad,
you leave a part of you behind.

There are SO many things I miss about the past.
So many people, relationships, objects, memories
that I probably didn't even want at the time,
but now I realize just how precious
some things were.

But, the fact of the matter is that
change happens.

I just got a random text from my hubby that said
I love you.
I wouldn't trade that for any memory
I have of the past.

There is a part of me at Juab High School.
In Nephi, at Snow College, California, New York.....
The list could go on.
But I am happy that those are just small parts
and that most of me is right here right now
with the person I love the very most.
