Missing My Bros :(

For some reason, today I am missing my brothers. I do this sometimes and it is really silly. But sometimes I just wake up and realize that I haven't seen them for a while and get all sad. So I got on my computer and looked at a bunch of our ridiculously funny pictures. When the three of us are together, we are out of control. The good news is that I get to see them both tonight! And the GREAT news is that in about 3 months they will both be in Ephraim and I will get some good quality time with them. Anyway, just thought I would share a few (okay a lot) of pictures of my two favorite boys.

Tis the Season

For all day rides! On Sunday Franki and Urs invited us to go with them on a rhino ride over Wales Canyon. We got up, packed some snacks and water, and hit the road. We had so much fun! The weather was so nice. I wore a tank top, hoping to get some sun on my arms and I totally got burned. Every year I get sunburned once then after that I am usually okay. Well this weekend was my one bad burn. Grandma Doris packed some bbq turkey for lunch and it was just a really great day!

Don't you just LOVE living so close to these gorgeous mountains?

He is the cutest husband ever!!

Love these chicas.

Friendship

I am really thankful for my friends lately who keep me motivated. Ash will just randomly send me pictures of a craft she's working on and her or Whitney will always text me and tell me to go to Zumba with them. I was able to have TWO girls dates last week, and tomorrow we are starting our Buncos group, which should be a lot of fun. Last week I ran out of gas and Franki and Urs were right there for me. It is nice having people here and still some friends in Nephi because sometimes I just need a night away from here. It's funny how you grow up and become who you are. I am a different person than I was a few years ago, and I am thankful for some of the changes I have had in my life because they have helped me overlook the stupid petty things in life and realize the importance of having good people around you. I am really happy with where we are right now because we have each other, we have family close by, and we have a LOT of great friends that we love spending time with. It is easy to know someone, but it takes time and effort to build a strong friendship.

You've heard the song, "You Find Out Who Your Friends Are." I love that song because I know the people who would "run out and crank up their car, hit the gas, get there fast. Never stop to think what's in it for me? Or it's way to far! They just show on up with their big old hearts!"

So if you're one of those people who go out of your way to be a part of our lives, you know who you are..... THANK YOU.

And if you've never heard the song......

Puppy Update

A little update on our pups--- Hoss is growing like a weed! He is so big. We are trying to limit the amount of food he eats, so we just pour some in the bowl in the morning and at night. So during the day I will find him sitting by the bowl giving me the puppy dog eyes! Little stinker.

It's really hard to make puppy eyes look normal in pictures because the flash makes them bright white. But look at these two! They were being little terrorists this morning. And after they had each been yelled at by me they just sat there looking at me then followed me around all over the house getting ready. They definitely keep up busy, but they are so cute together and we love our babies!

On a side note, I have been getting my craft on. We have been spring cleaning our house and yard, and last weekend Kenz helped me make this cute B to hang on our wall. Super easy and cute.

And Ashlee introduced me to the idea of making little poms out of dryer sheets and using them as air fresheners in the car. They look much cuter than the typical christmas tree air freshener and they smell great! Good idea Ash!

A Perfect Morning

Today I am very thankful for a caring husband who loves me for the crazy, anxious, neurotic person that I am! I have been feeling stressed out this week. I just have a hard time managing my anxiety sometimes, and I have been letting things get to me and stress me out. He works SO much that all he can really do is talk to me on the phone and help me calm down, which he does regularly. But today he had the day off work at Lighthouse. He came home from his graveyard and rather than coming in and crawling straight into bed (like I would!) I woke up to the smell of ham, biscuits and gravy! He made me a delicious breakfast and he let the dogs out so I could sleep in a little bit. Mostly he just made me feel special first thing this morning. I am so looking forward to spending another great weekend with this person. Thanks for breakfast babe, it was just what I needed!

Easter Weekend

Well Easter weekend was a success! We went camping in the hills behind Moroni and it was a really fun weekend. We had a lot of people at our camp and the weather was fabulous! Our dogs were really good and had a good time playing in the dirt. We bought a plastic bat and ball for the kids to play with and Hemi chased it every time it was hit. She was so funny! On Saturday night, we left for a couple of hours to go watch my friend Kim play in her band. They did a really good job and we had fun watching her. Then we headed back to camp, where we stayed until early this morning. We both had to work today :( So we had to get right back to reality, which was hard. But we had a great weekend with a good friends, family, memories, and lots of good food!

How stinkin cute are these kids? We asked Bode Man to babysit Hoss while we went to watch Kim and he was more than happy to do it!

Hemi is so playful with the kids, but so cuddly with me. I love it! Lol here is Hoss taking a nap. If we couldn't find him, we would look first by the food and then in his bed!

One of the first times I went camping with Kenzie, his grandma got out a bunch of paints and craft supplies and we made pet rocks. The kids loved it, so I took out all my craft stuff and let the kiddos make one.

This one is mine!

It was such a fun weekend and I was really sad to see it come to an end. It is so nice to have such great weather and to be able to do things outside. I was really thankful for all our awesome friends we got to spend the weekend with. We have some sweet people in our lives, and we had a great holiday. I hope you all had a fabulous Easter!

Mini Camping Trip

Yesterday we decided to ride up to our property and do a fire. We loaded up the puppies and took some good food, camp chairs, and some things to keep us busy! It was SO pretty up there and we had a really nice time doing some work up there and roasting hot dogs for dinner. The dogs were in heaven rolling in the dirt! Hoss fell asleep for most of the evening, but Hemi was absolutely loving running around all night. She wore herself out! Around 9 o clock, Whitney, Justin, Kelton, and his woman came up and sat by the fire for a while. We went for a ride in Justin's truck and visited a couple parties in Fairview. Then we came back, loaded up our stuff and headed home. It was a really nice way to spend our Saturday afternoon and night and it made us really look forward to summer and spending lots of time up on the mountain!

Hoss

We got our new puppy!
Can you believe how stinkin cute he is??
We got him on Thursday night and he has been so good. He sleeps on the floor all night and he starts whining when he needs to go to the bathroom so we get up and let him out. He absolutely LOVES Hemi. The second we showed them to each other he started licking her face all over! Hemi, on the other hand, isn't so sure. She is starting to come around, but she was so so mad at us at first. They are starting to play a lot and it is the funniest thing.

I am really excited to have a big dog to protect me while Kenz is at work at nights. Hemi girl is still my favorite :) But we are both super excited about our new little guy, Hoss.
